I'm Cy Nielson. I pitch in AAA with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and I'm home for the offseason, October through the middle of February. I take a small group of pitchers for lessons over the winter.
Lesson one is the look: I watch him throw, get a radar number, and tell you honestly what I'd work on first. From there we build a game plan for the season — a weekly lesson, a lifting program written for a pitcher his age, and a check in during the week so it doesn't fall apart between lessons.
$100 a lesson, or four a month for $350 with the program and the check ins. Ages 12 and up. Mostly weekends.
You pick a time, I confirm it, you get an email. Nothing is booked until I do.
